Young girls are prepared to become good future wives before they are given the option of becoming independent individuals. Financial independence is often seen as rebellion. Voice is confused with disrespect.
Threads of tradition are tied around women and presented as protection.
Silence is packaged as peace.
Naari Narrative exists to gently untie those threads.

How it started
Naari Narrative grows from Girls Buzz — a women-led platform started by two sisters in 2019.
What began as a digital space during uncertain times became a cultural ecosystem. Thousands of blogs in multiple Indian languages. A growing women-first community. Video conversations with professionals. A strong social media voice questioning patriarchy calmly and consistently.
And then there is Mili — the middle-class Indian housewife navigating daily expectations while holding onto her dreams. Through comics, she reflects what many women live but rarely articulate.
